Writup Refund Policy
Writup provides web-based AI copywriting and SEO services. We aim to ensure that all our users are satisfied with the capabilities of our platform while maintaining a fair usage environment.
General Policy Acknowledgement
Writup appreciates your support. As with any online software service, terms and conditions apply to all transactions at Writup. Please note that by subscribing to a premium plan at Writup, or applying for a refund, you agree to Writup's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Writup offers a 30-Day Prorated Refund Policy exclusively on its Pro subscription plans. If you are unsatisfied within the first 30 calendar days of your purchase, you may request a cancellation and receive a partial refund calculated proportionally based on the remaining unused days.
General Refundable Circumstances
- Prorated Refunds for Pro Plans: For users who have purchased a Pro subscription plan, Writup will issue a prorated refund if the request is made via email within 30 calendar days of the initial purchase. The refund amount will be calculated by deducting the daily rate of the days already used from your total payment.
- Duplicate Orders: Purchase of the same subscription twice simultaneously. In this case, Writup will fully refund one of the duplicate charges for you.

Price Drops: Writup reserves the right to change prices for
subscription plans at any time. Should Writup reduce its
price on your purchased plan within 10 calendar
days from the date of your initial order, please contact Writup to request a refund
of the difference between the price you were
charged and the current selling price.
Please note that this price-drop refund:
- Excludes any temporary promotional discounts during holidays (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas).
- Excludes any custom enterprise pricing or large team discounts.
General Non-Refundable Circumstances
- Monthly Subscriptions: All month-to-month subscription plans are final and non-refundable.
- Excessive AI Usage (Fair Use Policy): Refunds will be denied or heavily adjusted if the user has excessively consumed the platform's AI generation resources (e.g., generating an unusually massive volume of words or abusing the API calls) during the 30-day period. AI generation incurs significant, non-recoverable computational hard costs to Writup.
- Failure to read the product description or feature list before purchasing, resulting in dissatisfaction with the platform's functions. Customers are highly encouraged to utilize any available trial credits before making a paid commitment.
- Any refund requests regarding a complaint of credit card fraud or unauthorized payments. Writup recommends the customer contacts the card issuer immediately. As Writup uses secure independent payment gateways (e.g., Stripe), we cannot monitor all authorizations for every payment.
- Refund requests claiming a "failure to receive an activation email." Upon successful payment, your Writup account is upgraded to premium status instantly. If your account does not reflect the premium status due to network delays, please contact our support team to manually refresh your account rather than requesting a refund.
How to Apply for a Refund?
To apply for a prorated refund within your first 30 days, please send an email to support@writup.ai with the following information:
- Your registered account email address
- The Subscription Plan you purchased (e.g., Pro Plan)
- Order reference No. or Invoice ID
- The specific reason for the refund request
Once we have received and approved your refund request, we will calculate the prorated amount based on the date your email was received and process the cancellation.
The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method. For example, if you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent back to the card-issuing bank. Depending on your bank's processing times, refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to be credited. Once a refund has been issued, your premium account features and AI generation limits will be immediately deactivated or downgraded to the free/basic tier.
